Product Description

elk Petal Sleeve Top Mulberry available now.

The elk Petal Sleeve name and the shape of the beautiful petal sleeves sum up the gentle silky flow of this garment.  You can wear it for coffee with friends with jeans, style it with black pants to look snappy at work or add heels at an up market restaurant, dinner for two. An excellent trans-seasonal top, you could wear in the fading warmth of autumn or the cool of winter with scarf & boots. Sure to be an affordable luxury go-to top.

The slight dip hem creates a modest longer back covering the top of your hips.  The eco-friendly blend of natural fibres cupro and tencel, add to the soft flowing caress of the material with an opulent glint that catches the sun. The petal sleeve is not short, not long like a ¾ sleeve but cleverly designed to cover the back of your arms. The shallow V-neck lends itself to a short necklace or a neutral coloured scarf.

Colour: Available in three seasonal colours – Black, Sulphur and Mulberry.

Black is best – it will work every time, slimming your figure, hiding the dirt and like what white paper does for words, black forms the background for colourful accessories like scarves or bold necklaces.

Sulphur – this stunning gold yellow crystalline has traveled with us through ancient times being mentioned for it uses in ancient India, Greece, China and Egypt. In the Bible sulfur is called brimstone. Without being “look at me” yellow it’s strength of colour has a depth and richness that heralds the coming of the winters sun.

Mulberry – like Sulphur the other colour of this top, is soaked in the dye of anonymous tales ensuring the wearer is wrapped in the warmth of history itself. Mulberry the wine colour, whispers secrets of extravagant events, of dancing, of drinking and laughter of long forgotten happy times.

Material: Eco-friendly 56% Cupro 44% Tercel - consider the planet

Size: XS-L

Cupro is a regenterated cellulose fultra fine silky fibre that stick to the seeds of the cotton plant after it’s been ginned (fluffed up). The fibre is then dissolved in a solution which included copper oxide hence the name cupro. Often used as a silk substitute, cupro drapes beautifully yet can be machine washed. Cupro breathes and regulates body temperate like cotton. Similar to Tencel cupro is hypoallergenic, antistatic and is resistant to stretching.

Tencel is a fibre of botanic origins, extracted from the raw tree wood. Tencel is more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk and cooler than linen. The extremely eco-friendly closed loop process where all solvents are recycled meant tencel production received the highest "European Award for the Environment".
