It takes Europe’s most sophisticated high tech knitting machines to produce this extraordinary fabric that is thinner, softer than silk and far more durable.
Ok so it’s silker than silk at 0.8microns, soft and wonderful but it’s also highly functional, it’s natural wicking properties keep your skin cool and dry in summer, warm and cosy in winter. Perfect on the go, for travel, exercise or lounging around and sleeping in, Tani combines casual elegance with ultimate comfort and easycare.
Tani is an Australian business, designed and distributed by husband and wife Lisa Thornton and Paul Ryder since 2004.

Even after repeated machine washing, the fabric retains its shape and colour as they were on the very first day. Wash with similar colours, best place individual garments into mesh washing bags to avoid lint. Dissolve detergent before adding to the washing water. Use a cold/warm gentle cycle.
EASY BEING GREEN
Be happy, Tani makes it easy being green. The beech wood forests used to make the material are completely naturally positive and sustainable. The key part of this technology is oxygen-based chemistry, thus the fiber can be produced in an environmentally responsible way from the pulp through to the fabric.
