I am an artist and sculptor living in Noosa Heads, Queensland. My artistic passions are mixed media and ceramics. I tell sto- ries by exploring the journey of being a woman. I often add secret symbols and messages to my pieces should you care to delve more deeply into them rather than just registering them at face value. I have worked hard to find my voice as a woman and an artist and to honour the need to go deep within to learn to con- nect to the best version of myself.

THE ARTWORK: Mosaic Girl

This mosaic was born during a course I completed with talented artist Scott Harrow. I wanted to create an expressionist piece along the lines of Henri Matisse and the “fauves,” or “wild beasts” movement which was known for their use of “brutal” colours. I love the somewhat jarring juxtaposition of the colours that have been put side by side as well as the irregular- ity of the sizes and shapes of each hand-cut tile. My favourite part is the intricate flowers on her head.

This scarf is created in collaboration with a network of artists from all corners of the globe.  Stunning artworks are digitally printed on to a finely woven plant derived Viscose Modal, which is incredibly soft and drapes beautifully when worn.

FABRIC: Plant derived Viscose and Modal are blended to create the softest scarf you will ever wear. The material is a 100% natural fibre sourced from different woods so it is breathable in summer and yet will not overheat, yet warm in winter. 

DETAIL: Lightweight design, easy to carry around, rectangle shape, hand designed by a real artist. 

CLEANING: How to wash me: Wash by hand in mild detergent and dry flat, out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.
